Job Overview
Universal Cargo & Equipments is hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily financial operations, Tally entries, project accounts, and MIS reporting at our Deoghar office.
This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records across solar, civil, irrigation, and agricultural infrastructure projects.
Job Location: Universal Cargo & Equipments (UCE) Bompass Town, Opp. Dadi Mandir, Chandra Sangita Complex, Room No. 201, Deoghar, Jharkhand – 814114
Key Responsibilities
Daily Accounting & Data Entry

Enter all financial transactions in Tally ERP including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.

Maintain Excel-based ledgers, cashbook, and project-wise expense sheets.

Update and reconcile vendor & client ledgers.

Handle bank reconciliation, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
Project Accounting
- Track daily expenses for site projects.
- Maintain cost sheets and update management on budget utilisation.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and compliance.
Reporting

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.

Assist in financial summaries for management reviews.
General Office Coordination

Coordinate with procurement, project teams, and vendors for financial data.

Maintain well-organised accounting files and digital records.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential Experience
- Minimum 1 year of professional accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP (must).
- Strong knowledge of Excel formulas, filters, data entry & report preparation
- Understanding of basic accounting principles: ledgers, cashbook, reconciliation
- Ability to manage workload with accuracy and attention to detail
Soft Skills
- Honest and responsible

Education
